Embellish with Spellbinders Silver Gems.Die-cut sentiment strips from Simon’s Reverse Spooky Salutations set.Trim ink blended panel to 3 1/4 x 8 1/4″ and foam mount to 3 1/2 x 8 1/2″ Slimline card base.Spray Distress Mica Spray in Antique Bronze. Ink blend bats using Layered Bats stencil in Black Soot.Ink blend a background on Simon’s 120 LB cardstock with Distress Oxide inks in: Scattered Straw, Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Rusty Hinge, Candied Apple (although you can’t see any of the red), Ground Espresso, and Black Soot using Simon’s blending brushes.I mounted the panel onto a Slimline card base, die-cut some sentiments from the pre-printed sentiment strips, tossed in a few silver gems, and called this card done. The Layered Bats stencil is a treat to work with! I had a blast making this card, First, I ink blended background with Oxide inks, next, I added the flying bats all over my slimline background and sprayed them with shimmer ink. Like this project?
